Temple Tree Hotel - Weligama

Great location, just a stone's throw away from Sri Lanka 🏝️ and a stunning beach. It's so close to the sea, which is awesome for beach lovers!

We truly enjoyed the place and its delicious and vegan breakfast.

The hotel was a unique base for enjoying a very quite area, just next door to the garden, Weligama for surfing, and city center.

The room was spotless and perfect with a shower, a bidet, and bath sheets in the private bathroom. Our window overlooked garden. Location: the hotel was right by supermarket and the main beach area and all the beaches...

The room was a nice size and high-class with a terrace, perfect for evening relaxation. We appreciated having access to wake-up service. Everyone was superbly friendly and very amiable, including the host.

The breakfast offered here is completely vegan and includes a wide selection of delicious options to pick from.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff was kind and helpful in everything we needed, from organizing transportation to recommending local spots. The breakfast was amazing, with a wide variety of delicious options that kept us full throughout the day. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from the beach and close to public transportation.

our second stay in weligama was even better than the first. temple tree was an absolute delight. the host and his family were incredibly kind and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect trip. the location by the beach was ideal, and the room was clean and comfortable. the outstanding breakfast was the cherry on top.

The breakfast was amazing, with generous portions of both traditional and Western dishes. The host was extremely friendly and helpful, offering us a great price for scooter hire, and giving us tips on where to go. The location was perfect- just a one-minute walk from the beach! Plus, the room facilities were excellent- we had everything we needed for our stay.

Parking was limited, which could be an issue if you're travelling with your own car. , there was no hot water, but since the weather was hot anyway, it wasn't really a problem.

Friendly hosts, tasty and plentiful breakfast, clean and spacious room with mosquito tent, helpful assistance with tour and restaurant recommendations, provision of gluten-free options and amenities like drinking water refill and scooter rental.

the host provided excellent restaurant suggestions and arranged transportation. the room was well furnished and comfortable with a great outside seating area. the breakfast was delicious and huge, perfect for a day of surfing. the hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating, even renting us a bike. a fantastic experience with great facilities and service.

It's important to note that hot water was not available in all rooms. the host is reportedly working on providing this amenity in the future.

The hotel had a nice breakfast with plenty of options to choose from. the location was also great being near the beach and having some beautiful scenery nearby.

. The room I stayed in was a bit small and cramped and didn't have enough ventilation, making it difficult to breathe at times.
